Overview
Blended learning is the thoughtful
fusion of face-to-face and online learning experiences.
Blended learning is a fundamental redesign that transforms
the structure of, and approach to, teaching and
learning. The need to provide more "engaged" learning
experiences is at the core of the interest in blended
learning, as many faculty have begun to question the
passive teaching and learning approaches of the
lecture. How to use technology--integrate it into a
traditional, non- or low-tech, course represents the rise
of new pedagogies created by new learning environments.
