Making Sense of Student Ratings

Overview
Student ratings are probably the most common form
of student feedback received by professors. Research shows that
this feedback will be most helpful, and you will be most likely to
improve, if you discuss the feedback with someone. Having an
outside point of view can be helpful in pointing out positive
ratings and taking some of the focus off of the negative ratings.
An outside source also may be helpful in suggesting ideas or
techniques that may be helpful in areas needing improvement
