Debbie Turner is the President and General Manager of the NewsChannel 5 Network. Prior to coming to Nashville in 1992, she was with the parent company of NewsChannel 5, Landmark Communications in Norfolk, Virginia. Debbie began her career working as an auditor for Price Waterhouse. A CPA, she received her BBA degree from the College of William and Mary.   Active in the community, Debbie currently serves on the following boards: Tennessee Association of Broadcasters, Leadership Nashville's Board of Trustees, Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, and the Saint Thomas Hospital Foundation. She is an alumnus of Leadership Nashville and a member of the Downtown Rotary Club. She is a former board member of the following organizations:  The Jason Foundation, Kids Voting, and the Better Business Bureau.
