Dr. Rongjin Huang is an associate professor of mathematics education. He received
Ph.D. degrees in mathematics education from The University of Hong Kong and Texas
A & M University. He received his M.S. in mathematics education from East China Normal
University and his B.S. in mathematics from Zhejiang Normal University. He was a
high school mathematics teacher and a university faculty member in China and Macau
before joining MTSU. He is one of the Chinese team leaders for the Learner’s Perspective
Study. His research interests include mathematics classroom research, mathematics
teacher education, and comparative mathematics education.
