Resources for Students

Career Counseling/Exploration

Career counseling is not a passive process. Students will be asked to be active in the exploration of interest and career options available to them. Students have the ability to complete inventories of interest, values or personality to learn more about themselves. They also can learn about occupations and career fields via Discover and other Web-based resources, and possibly interview people about their career. Decision making is an important part of the process and can be demanding. A student can expect the process to take at least 2 sessions.
