Academic Support Center - Undeclared Majors Resources for Students (Cont'd) Raider Book Club Each year selected faculty members and administrators are asked to suggest a book for students to read. The faculty member or administrator who recommended the book will then be scheduled to “host” a discussion dinner with the students during the Spring or Fall semester. UNIV 1010 instructors are asked to participate, allowing their students to choose a book to read from the list. The instructors will regularly incorporate the reading of the book and the dinner discussion into their course syllabi as a graded class project or for extra credit. The books are available in Phillips Bookstore and are on reserve at the library. |
