Academic Support Center - Undeclared Majors Academic Enrichment (Cont'd) Second Chance Test During the first week of school, students are given another opportunity to test out of their enrolled ACT/COMPASS prescribed course: DSPM 0700; DSPR 0700; ENGL 1009K; READ 1000K; MATH 1000K and MATH 1010K or MATH 1710K. The student can then proceed into the next course in the sequence or the appropriate college-level course. Students have the option after testing out of ACT/COMPASS prescribed courses to drop UNIV 1010K if the student has one ACT/COMPASS prescribed course remaining. Students are given test up slips to take to their advisors to be sure they are placed into the correct class. |
