College of Basic & Applied Science Guidelines for Advisor Assignment In general, students contact the department of their major to be assigned a faculty advisor. In most cases, faculty serve as the students’ primary advisors. Students may consult College Advisors, Karen Case (kcase@mtsu.edu, JH 119) and and Jennifer Danylo (jdanylo@mtsu.edu, JH 256), as needed for assistance.Students majoring in the pre-professional health sciences are assigned pre-professional faculty advisors and may also seek assistance from Mrs. Jennifer Braswell (jbraswel@mtsu.edu, DSB 241), Coordinator of Pre-Professional Health Science Advising. The School of Nursing assigns Pre-Nursing students to Mrs. Helen Gleason (hgleason@mtsu.edu, CKNB 110), School of Nursing Advisor, or to a faculty advisor. |
