College of Business Things to Do for Business Majors FRESHMAN - Investigate majors of interest
- Establish contact with a faculty advisor
- Get involved in Professional Business Organizations
- Declare a major (can be declared or changed at anytime)
- Attend Career Day and Summer Jobs/Internship Fair
SOPHOMORE - Complete remaining coursework in freshman and soph. years
- File Upper-Division form (second semester)
- Visit the Career Center Resource Library, KUC 328
JUNIOR - Review Jones College of Business scholarship opportunities
- Begin 3000/4000 level business courses
- Register with the Career and Employment Center – eRecruiting
- Review GPA in major, minor, upper division, and cumulative
SENIOR - File Intent to Graduate Form (beginning of 1st semester of senior year)
- Complete appropriate exams (Academic Profile, Major Field Test, Departmental Exams – depending on major)
- Complete job search process and revise registration on eRecruiting
