The Department of Sociology and Anthropology offers programs leading to the Bachelor of Science degree in both Sociology and Anthropology as well as the Bachelor of Arts degree in both areas.

Sociology prepares students for careers in corrections, social research, teaching, personnel, industrial relations, journalism, gerontology, and social and cultural research.

Anthropology prepares students for careers in archaeology, foreign service, social and cultural research, personnel and working with different cultures.
