Academic Policies and Procedures High School Deficiencies
If you have questions regarding a student's high school deficiency please contact a Freshman Processing Clerk in the Admissions Office (898-2111). - Students admitted to MTSU with high school unit requirement deficiencies will be required to remove these deficiencies by taking certain courses and earning a grade of “C-“ or better.
- New Freshmen must remove deficiencies within the first 64 hours of enrollment and transfer students within the first 30 hours of enrollment.
- Courses used to satisfy high school deficiencies cannot be used toward completion of specific degree requirements.
