A hold is any item on a student’s record that will prevent him or her from registering for classes (with the exception of a Financial Aid hold). A hold, in most instances, can only be removed by the office or department who sets it. The following is a list of possible holds that a student may have: - A89 Deficiency – High School Deficiency - Refer to specific College Advisor
- Admissions File Incomplete – Admissions Office, CAB 208, 898-2111
- Advising Required – Academic Support Center 898-2339, McFarland Building
- Academic Enrichment Placement Required – Academic Enrichment Office, PH 202, 898-2568
- Hepatitis/Meningitis Waiver Form – Health Services, Health, Wellness & Recreation Center, 898-2988
- MMR Hold – Health Services, Health, Wellness & Recreation Center, 898-2988
- Overdue Books – James E. Walker Library, 898-2772
- Owes a student account or phone balance – Business Office, CAB 105, 898-2540
- Pre-Professional Science Hold – Refer student to Faculty Advisor for removal
- Selective Service Hold – CAB 102, Veteran’s Certification- Ray Howell, 898-2601
- U1010 required for undeclared majors – Academic Support Center, McFarland Building, 898-2339
