Perform a three (3) to five (5) minute routine in costume, which includes the following:

• skit made up by candidate
• incorporation of props
• ability to assume the character of the mascot
• ability to imitate the walk, head movement, trot, kick, and hand and arm movement
• evaluation by the Coach and Advisor of previous experience

Mascot candidates may be incoming freshmen, transfer students, or current MTSU students with a minimum of a 2.0 GPA and in good standing with the University.

Bring to Tryout:

• There is a $20.00 application fee for all applicants. This fee should be turned in during the registration process of the tryout clinic.
• Proof of enrollment or acceptance to MTSU
• Tryout Application
• Consent Form/Proof of Insurance
