Adjunct Professor - Jazz Guitar, class guitar 

Paul Abrams started his career in New York performing in Greenwich Village clubs and recording at major labels (Columbia,Mercury,Epic,Vanguard). He arrived in Nashville playing with Dave and Sugar on the Kenny Rogers show followed by 3 years at the Opryland Hotel with jazz/classical harpist Lloyd Lindroth. Abrams toured extensively for 30 years with the Bo Thorpe Big Band (Waldorf Astoria, Inaugural Balls in Washington DC, etc.). He taught jazz guitar for 9 years at UT Knoxville with such notables as Jerry Coker and 25 years at Belmont University. He is currently on the jazz faculty of MTSU.
