Ryan Middagh is one of the up and coming composers and arrangers in the jazz scene today. His original compositions and arrangements have been performed by professional jazz ensembles and show bands around the world, receiving commissions from professional performers, colleges and high schools. He received a bachelor's degree in music education from the University of Northern Iowa and a master's degree in jazz studies from Middle Tennessee State University. Residing in Nashville, Ryan is also active as a saxophonist, leading his own octet and playing in a plethora of groups ranging the gamut of musical genres.
