At MTSU, meeting the needs of all students is decidedly important. Since these needs vary greatly, there is a division within MTSU—called University College—dedicated to enhancing the long-term success of students—traditional and nontraditional—academically and beyond.

Whether students are coming to MTSU from high school, another college or university, the military, or the workforce, there will be a period of transition. The University Advising Center offers help with this transition.

Some students prefer to take classes in a traditional classroom located on MTSU’s beautiful campus; others find that classes held at other locations offer significant convenience; still others find that taking some or all of their classes online fits better with their schedules. Programs within University College offer assistance to each of these groups.
