MTSU School of Nursing Study Abroad Opportunities
Mission Trip to Guatemala
A group of 11 nursing students and a nursing professor traveled to Los Robles, Guatemala from May 18 to the 26. The group transported 50 pounds of medical supplies for the rural clinic. Our supplies were donated from organizations or bought with money from generous contributions.
The clinic was open for one week, and with the help of 2 Nurse Practitioners and Spanish translators, basic medical care was provided for local residents who were in desperate need.
