You must display a valid MTSU parking permit hangtag or motorcycle sticker to park you car on campus. The parking permit is included in your semester fees, so all you have to do is to fill out the form about your vehicle and pick up the permit at Parking Services or one of the designated offices that distribute permits in the evenings and on Saturday mornings. The parking permit does not guarantee you a specific parking space, but it does permit you to park in designated student parking lots.
Disability parking spaces are available throughout campus. Those displaying campus disabled tags may park in any available space on campus, if a marked disabled space is not available. Parking meters are located on campus in certain lots for short-term parking, but you must pay the meter at those locations, even if you have an MTSU parking permit.Permits for motor scooters and motorcycles must be obtained at Parking Services and those vehicles must park in designated areas for these vehicles.
There is no permit needed for parking your bicycle on campus. Bicycle racks are located at various campus locations. For more information on parking, check out the Parking Services website .
