Sexual Assault Awareness Month - Handbook

April is nationally recognized as Sexual Assault Awareness Month and every year at this time students are provided with a week-long series of opportunities at MTSU to become more aware of issues of violence against women. Programs include events concerning women's safety; the Clothesline Project, a powerful display of t-shirts on campus designed by victims and survivors of sexual violence; and the annual Take Back the Night event, which enables campus and community members to come together, speak out against violence, honor survivors and victims, and show their support for ending sexual violence.
