Cooperative Education - Handbook

Cooperative Education is a plan in which students alternate periods of work in a field related to their majors with periods of study. Students may work full time through the alternating or consecutive program, and/or they may work half time and take classes half time concurrently. Selected students from all five colleges within the university work throughout the southeast with private, public, and governmental organizations. In order to participate, students must be in good standing in a degree program, have completed at least two semesters of college work (at least one semester at MTSU), have a minimum grade point average of 2.50, and be willing to work multiple semesters.

Student participation is dependent on the availability of suitable placement.
