Student Employment - Handbook

Many students find it necessary to supplement their income with part-time employment. The Career and Employment Center maintains a listing of job opportunities, both on and off campus, for students to consider.

Part-time jobs on campus may be listed in the Career and Employment Center, but other sources are also available. Interested students should contact other departments where they wish to work. Department heads may employ students to work in their departments without listing them in the Career and Employment Center. Departments which employ large numbers of students include the campus dining service, housing and residential life, facilities services, maintenance and grounds, recreation, and the library.

Many opportunities for off-campus employment are listed by local offices, retail stores, restaurants, and transportation companies.
