The University offers four dining halls and four satellite food service locations. McCallie Dining Hall (Real Food on Campus or RFoC), on the first floor of Corlew Hall, and the RaiderZone, in the James Union Building (JUB), are all-you-care-to-eat facilities. The Grill in Keathley University Center and CyberCafe@Woodmore, between Judd and Gracy Halls, offer popular fare from Chick-Fil-A, Pizza Hut, Quiznos, Subway, Burger King, and WPB Starbucks.
Grab-and-go locations are in the Bragg Mass Communication Building, the Business and Aerospace Building, Walker Library, and at Lightning's Limo in the Floyd Stadium breezeway. These facilities offer sandwiches, breakfast foods, snacks and beverages, fresh fruit, and pastries.
There are several meal plan options, and they all include FlexBucks, which are recorded on your student ID card and can be used at any dining location on campus.
All first-year residents in University Housing are automatically billed for the 10-Meal Plan, which offers 10 meals per week at McCallie or the RaiderZone and $350 in FlexBucks. First-year residents may choose to upgrade to the Unlimited Meals Plan within the first two weeks of the semester. This plan offers unlimited access to McCallie and the RaiderZone plus $150 in FlexBucks.
First-year residents in Womack Lane Apartments and Scarlett Commons are automatically billed for the 5-Meal Plan, which provides five meals per week at McCallie or the RaiderZone plus $250 in FlexBucks. Upgrades to the 5-Meal Plan may be purchased.

DINING FAQs
|
|
If I don't use all of my meals, do they carry
over to the next week?
Resident meal plans are meant to cover all meals from Sunday brunch to Saturday dinner and do not carry over from week to week. Cards are credited with the appropriate number of meals per week, guaranteed. The block meal plans were designed for commuters and provide a set number of meals to be used anytime during the semester. |
|
Can I change my dining plan?
Plans may be changed within two weeks from the time of purchase or two weeks after the first day of school, whichever is later. No cash refunds. |
|
How do I know how many Block Plan meals I have
left?
Check the number of meals remaining on your Block Plan at the register in any restaurant location, or stop by the MTDining office in KUC 204. |
|
What if I have unused FlexBucks at the end of the
semester?
Unused FlexBucks purchased apart from any meal plan roll over from fall to spring, but unused FlexBucks at the end of the spring semester are nonrefundable and nontransferable. FlexBucks that are a part of meal plans expire at the end of each semester. |
|
Do I have to renew my plan from fall to spring
semester?
First-year students living on campus will be automatically renewed for the 10-Meal + FlexBucks Plan. If you live off campus and want a meal plan, you must purchase one each semester. |
|
Where can I use my meal plan?
The 10- and 5-Meal Plans and the Unlimited Meals Plan are good at RFoC in McCallie and at the RaiderZone in the JUB. FlexBucks are accepted at all dining locations. |
