Registration Confirmation - Handbook


If your fees are paid in full by financial aid, Federal Stafford or PLUS loans, third party, TELS (Lottery) scholarship, or other credits, you must complete the registration process by confirming that you will attend MTSU for the term. If your balance is a credit or zero, you must Confirm Registration on RaiderNet by the fee payment deadline.

To Confirm registration:

  • Log in to PipelineMT at www.mtsu.edu.
  • Click on RaiderNet. A new option will be available for students to Confirm Registration . See www.mtsu.edu/bursar for new instructions effective for Fall 2007.
  • You will be given a confirmation number. It is important that you write down the confirmation number and the date. This is your proof and assurance that you completed the confirmation process. If in doubt, try the process again and the system will tell you if your registration has been confirmed. Your confirmation number will not be repeated.

    Please note: Reviewing your class schedule does not confirm your registration; you MUST select the Confirm Registration option. When you select this option, YOU WILL BE GIVEN A CONFIRMATION NUMBER IF YOUR REGISTRATION IS CONFIRMED. When you are assigned a CONFIRMATION NUMBER, the system will hold your classes. If your registration is not confirmed before the fee payment deadline, your class schedule will be deleted from the computer. Financial aid refunds cannot be processed until confirmation is completed. Check the online class schedule book and www.mtsu.edu/bursar for detailed instructions, dates, and deadlines for each term.

All students who preregister and decide not to attend MTSU should access RaiderNet prior to the final fee payment date for the term to drop all classes from their records. If you decide not to attend MTSU after confirming, you must withdraw from the University. For withdrawal information, go to www.mtsu.edu/withdraw .
