Sororities - Handbook

Eleven sororities, all of which are nationally chartered, provide membership opportunities for women students. Affiliated organizations are the Panhellenic Council, a governing body for the groups belonging to the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), and the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC). All groups actively participate in community service projects and compete in on-campus activities such as intramurals and scholarship rankings. NPC formal recruitment occurs each fall and requires a 2.5 minimum GPA.

Sororities with chapters at MTSU are Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Alpha Omicron Pi, Chi Omega, Delta Sigma Theta, Kappa Delta, Lambda Theta Alpha, Sigma Gamma Rho, Zeta Phi Beta, and Zeta Tau Alpha. A local sorority, Phi Chi, is now recognized as an active student organization and an associate member of the Panhellenic Council. For more information: KUC 326S, 898-5812, www.mtsu.edu/greeks
