Note:  Students may take no more than 11 courses (30 hours) commonly found in a school of business.

  • Although a minor is not required, students may choose to complete one as part of the 24 hours in electives.  Courses which count in the minor may not be used for credit in the Cognate or in the major.

  • Electives should help with or add to:
    (a) life skills, such as courses in personal financial planning, leisure in your life, first aid and safety, voice and diction, parenting, religious perspectives
    (b) expertise in the major, such as courses in management, entrepreneurship, public relations, ethics, use of computer software
