The Director oversees the two major functions of the Office of Research Services (ORS) - Proposal Development and Awards Management activities. The Director is responsible for the development and implementation of campus-wide policies and procedures for externally-funded grants and contracts. He also identifies and nurtures collaborative groups of researchers seeking external funding.

Responsible for specific components of research compliance including the Institutional Review Board, Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, and Research Integrity; including, developing and implementing policies, procedures, programs, and educational activities which satisfy Federal, State, Local and institutional rules and regulations which govern proper conduct of research.

The Proposal Development Specialist is responsible for increasing faculty and staff research and sponsored programs by the development and delivery of training, partnership development, pre-proposal planning, and proposal development.

Research Development Specialist
The Research Development Specialist is responsible for increasing faculty and staff research and sponsored programs by the development and delivery of training, partnership development, pre-proposal planning, and proposal development.
The Manager supervises compliance areas for grants; ensures timely and accurate index establishment, maintenance and monitoring, and termination; reviews time and effort documentation and reporting; communicates grant policies and procedures and conducts training and workshops.
Grant Financial Analyst
The Financial Analyst establishes and monitors the grant index including the final grant budget and assignment of position numbers; performs periodic desk reviews of index accounts; and conducts training and workshops.
