Take a look at the schedule and mix-and-match your favorite events to make your own personalized Family Weekend experience. 7:00pm | NPHC Step Show | Murphy Center
The annual step show, sponsored by the National Pan-Hellenic Council. This event is held every year during Homecoming as a time to come celebrate the tradition of stepping. People from all across the state of Tennessee attend this event and it is one of the premier step shows in the Southeast Region. If you are interested in purchasing tickets, you may purchase them through the MTSU Ticket Office. On September 10, General Admission tickets will be $12 and Floor Seats will remain $17. The day of the event, October 5, General Admission tickets will be $15 and Floor seats will be $20. This Disney Pixar film follows the heroic journey of Merida, a skilled archer and headstrong daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor. Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the unruly and uproarious lords of the land. Merida's actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric witch for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to harness all of her skills and resources - including her clever and mischievous triplet brothers - to undo a beastly cures before it's too late, discovering the meaning of true bravery. Entry is $2.00 per person.

Elephant's Graveyard is the true tale of the tragic collision of a struggling circus and a tiny town in Tennessee. Set in September of 1916, the play combines historical fact and legend, exposing the deep-seated American craving for spectacle, violence and revenge.

Heart of Tennessee Junior Goat Classic | Tennessee Livestock Center
The MTSU School of Agribusiness and Agriscience, in conjunction with UT Extension, will host the Heart of Tennessee Junior Goat Classic, October 5 and 6. This is more than just another goat show - it is an educational event where young exhibitors not only show goats but also exhibit their knowledge. There are also fun events, like a costume class. Join us as we watch the 2012 Homecoming Parade from the best venue on campus. The lawn of the Alumni House will be filled with MTSU alumni and friends as we get together for an event that is uniquely MT. Open to all, this year's party will feature the Voice of the Blue Raiders Chip Walters ('85), and Regina Raccuglia ('05), Communications Manager for the Tennessee Valley Blood Services Region of the American Red Cross and former WSMV news reporter as parade announcers. Be sure to stop by the photo booth to get your complimentary souvenir picture of you and your gang.

Immediately Following Parade | Homecoming Tailgate Lunch | Alumni House
Join us for lunch at the Alumni House immediately following the parade. Not tailgating? This is the perfect stop for a quick and easy meal before the game. The Parent & Family Association is offering a discounted lunch price for members. The normal price of $7.50 will be reduced to $5.50 per person. This exclusive offer is only valid for MTSU Parent & Family Association members and their families. This lunch sold out last year, so make your reservation early! Limited seating! Reservations and payment must be made in advance by reserving online through the reservation button above by September 26. If the lunch does not sell out online during the advance sale period, there will be walk up tickets sold on Homecoming day. However, this discounted price is only valid in the online presale, and you will have to pay full price at the door in the event that there is still room. Come out and bring the grill with you for a day of fun with thousands of other Blue Raider faithful. There will be inflatables, face painting, and other activities for the whole family beginning at 10:30am in Walnut Grove (Between Cope Administration Building and Peck Hall).
12:45pm | Raider Walk | Walnut Grove: The Blue Horseshoe
Come experience one of MTSU’s most exciting traditions. Raider Walk is a last minute pep rally before every home football game. The band will play, the dance team and cheerleaders will be there to pump up the crowd, and you will have the opportunity to give the football team “high-fives” as they make their way to the football stadium. Don’t miss this fun event! It will take place in Walnut Grove between the blue horseshoe and Peck Hall. You can’t miss it! The sidewalk has “RAIDER WALK” painted on it in huge, bright blue letters.
2:30pm | Football Game vs Louisiana Monroe | Floyd Stadium
Cheer the Blue Raiders on to victory at Jones Field! Your student gets in to all home football games for free, and they can purchase discounted tickets for friends and family members through the Athletic Ticket Office located on the Southwest corner of Floyd Stadium.
