Transportation

The Raider Xpress shuttle service is designed to transport faculty, staff, students and visitors throughout the campus and to help alleviate congestion at the campus core.

Shuttle service is available:

7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday ( Red and Blue Routes)
7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday (Green Route)
7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday ( Red, Blue and Green Routes)
8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday (Silver Route)

The Raider Xpress Map shows the current bus routes with construction detours.

Service is available only when classes are in session. All shuttles are accessible to persons with disabilities. For further information regarding this service, please call 898-2850.

SPECIAL EVENTS
The price for the bus is $20 per hour for the driver($40 on university holidays) PLUS $165 per day flat fee for the bus. There is a minimum of 2 hours per bus per trip. In addition to the regular charges holidays will also have a $35 administrative fee.

• No trips further than 30-35 miles( such as Nashville, Shelbyville, and
  Manchester)
• No overnight trips
• Must have an MTSU account number(must be MTSU related)
• First come, first serve basis
• Must complete shuttle request form this form may be faxed, but then the original must also be forwarded for our records all forms must be received by our office at least 7 work days prior to the date of your trip
• Trips are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from our department.

Campus departments requiring special shuttle bus services should complete the Transportation Request - Raider Xpress Shuttle Bus Form. A PDF* version of the form is available online. After obtaining required signatures, forward the form to:

Any changes to original request for service must be faxed to 904-8109 within a 48-hour time period before the trip.
