The President's Commission is composed of five subcommittees, which specialize in issues important to different populations of women across the MTSU campus.
These committees and their primary foci are outlined below.
Academic Issues This subcommittee deals with issues affecting faculty members and the curriculum.
Student Issues This subcommittee deals concerns of undergraduate and graduate students on the MTSU campus. A major area of activity is scholarships.
Leadership and Training This subcommittee addresses issues affecting career advancement and maintenance, primarily for those in or wishing to be in administration and staff positions.
Safety and Health This subcommittee deals with issues affecting the health and safety of members of the MTSU community. View the Campus Smoking Policy Document
Diversity This subcommittee deals with broad multicultural issues where gender may be a factor. Each of these committees meets at least twice per semester,in addition to carrying out email conversations throughout the year.
Family Issues This subcommittee deals with a variety of issues that affect our students, faculty, staff and their families.
