Non-Teaching Physical Education Program
| Physical education is a comprehensive field
that engages individuals of all ages, abilities, and cultures
in movement experiences that contribute to their growth and
development. Physical education is a dynamic field, constantly
evolving as societal trends, demographics, and other factors
impact upon it.
The field of physical education offers numerous career opportunities for the professional physical educator. In addition to physical education teaching careers at the K-12 school level (which require a teaching certificate or license), many related careers in physical education are available (see below-link). As new trends and developments occur and the field continues to expand, more and more career opportunities will present themselves. |
