Jack Purcell
Associate Professor
Jack received a B.A. and M.A. from University of South Carolina. He received another M.A. and Ph.D. from Purdue University. His current teaching interests include ancient Indian, Chinese, and Greek thought, twentieth century Continental philosophy, and philosophical aspects of cinema. He has also taught classes in American philosophy. He has written about cinema, ancient Greek thought, Karl Jaspers, Jean Francois Lyotard and others.
