Norman L. Parks Pre-Law Scholarship
Background
The Norman L. Parks Scholarship was established to honor a former chair of the Political Science Department who taught at MTSU from 1953 to 1974.
Purpose
To promote and encourage the study of law.
Scholarship Award
The student selected for the Scholarship will receive $900.00 for the first semester of study at Middle Tennessee State University.
Applicants
Any graduating high school senior in the state of Tennessee is eligible to apply.
Applicants will be judged on the basis of high school scholastic record, ACT score, desire to study law, and need for financial support.
The Scholarship recipient must agree to attend MTSU and major in the Pre-Law program during the first semester.

- High School Transcript
- ACT Scores
- Recommendation from one high school teacher (to be mailed separately).

All applications must be postmarked by April 1 prior to entry into the university.
