Project Help is supported financially by many Middle Tennessee charitable organizations and government bodies. A portion of Project Help's financial support comes from the Tennessee Department of Education / Office of Early Childhood Programs; Division of Special Education.
Additional funding allocations from the United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties provide for salaries and operating expenses.
The Project Help Advisory Board, in conjunction with the MTSU Office of Development, raises the funds used for daily program operations and expansion efforts. The Charity Circle of Murfreesboro provides funding and maintains two seats on our Advisory Board.
Other groups who donate time and funding include: St. Rose Knights of Columbus, the Lioness Club of Murfreesboro, Middle Tennessee Customer Car, Ingram Books, and Khol's Department Store.
MTSU provides funding for one staff person and for the upkeep of Project Help's facilities.
