As a part of MTSU, when the university is closed, Project Help is closed. Project Help occasionally extends these university holidays. These additional days give teachers and staff an opportunity to organize, plan, and prepare, as well as to take a much needed break since Project Help is in session at least 48 week per year. From time to time, there are occasions when Project Help is closed for unusual circumstances. In the past, those have been based on health conditions within the building, or other extenuating circumstances such as funerals.
