My name is Celina, I am the co-teacher for Project Help Prep. I have a degree in Elementary Education from the Nation Normal School and a degree in Educational Child Psychology from the advanced School for Teachers in Mexico City. I have studied Bilingual Education at Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona, and Multicultural Education at the University of South Alabama.
I have worked in elementary schools and in special education. I moved to Murfreesboro in 2009, with my wonderful husband, Stephen who is chair of the Political Science Department at MTSU.
I enjoy helping children learn basic concepts in a ludic way. Working at Project Help give me the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of the children, their families, and in my own. My inspirations include my son, David, who is completing his master's in education at the University of South Alabama, and my daughter Tania, who is pursuing a Master's in political and social science at the National University of Mexico in Mexico City.
