Master of Social Work (M.S.W.)

MTSU's Master of Social Work program is dedicated to the enhancement of human well-being, diversity, and social justice through developing and improving systems of public social services, especially of children and families, by offering graduate training in social work with a hybrid model of delivery. The purposes of graduate social work education are to prepare competent and effective professionals, to develop social work knowledge, and to provide leadership in the development of service delivery systems. We view social work education as being grounded in the profession's history, purposes, and philosophy and based on a specific body of knowledge, values, and skills.

The Middle Tennessee State University Master of Social Work program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education's Commission on Accreditation.
