FACULTY DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

The Faculty Development Committee should be composed of one faculty member from each academic college and two at-large faculty members. The Assistant Vice Provost should serve as an ex-officio member. Administrators should be requested to attend as consultants at the committee’s discretion.

Charge
The Faculty Development Committee should support the development of faculty expertise by the awarding of grants. The committee should determine the frequency and manner of solicitation of proposals; should develop evaluation criteria; and should evaluate proposals.
