How Do I Get A Transcript?


Official transcripts can be requested and picked up immediately at MTSU at the Cope Administration Building, Room 106, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. A picture ID is required.

Unofficial transcripts can be accessed on-line using PipelineMT. Once you log into PipelineMT, select the RaiderNet tab, followed by the Student tab, then the Student Records link, and then select Transcript from the menu to view your unofficial transcript. If you have not attended MTSU since Fall 2001, your transcript will not be accessible on the web via PipelineMT. If you have attended MTSU since Fall 1990 and prior to Fall 2001, you may call 615-898-2163 for assistance in sending your official transcript.

Official transcripts may also be requested via fax (615-898-5538) or mail by submitting the request in writing including the following information:

  • current email address to be used to send a confirmation when the transcript request is received and another confirmation when the transcript has been sent
  • complete name (including any previous names)
  • student ID number
  • term last enrolled
  • number of transcripts requested
  • complete address of where to mail the transcript(s)
  • written signature of student requesting the transcript(s)
  • current telephone number, including area code
  • special instructions (if the transcript needs to be held until degrees are posted, etc.)

There is no charge for transcripts. Transcripts will not be issued until all debts or obligations owed to the institution have been satisfied.

Due to the high volume of transcript requests, email confirmation will be sent when requests are received and when transcripts are sent. Therefore, please do not continue to resend or call the Registrar's (Records) Office to check on the status of your request as this only further delays the processing of your request, and our goal is to process requests accurately and as quickly as possible. If you haven't received an email confirmation that your request has been received within 8-business hours, then you can resend or call.

You may also print and complete the Transcript Request Form and return it to the Registrar's (Records) Office for processing.
