Dear Faculty Members:
Scholars Week 2015 will be here before we know it! The week will culminate with poster presentations highlighting all of the amazing work that students have accomplished. We need volunteers to judge the poster presentations on Friday March 20th.
Judges will be provided with a scoring rubric. To facilitate judging, four of the five ratings can be made during the preview session.
Posters will be set up between 8:30 and 11:30 AM on the 20th.
Posters will be available for preview from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Judges may use the preview time to evaluate posters, but this is not required.
The judging is from 12:40 PM to 2:15 PM when students will be available to discuss their work.
If you are willing to assist in this task, please contact me (William Langston, Psychology) at firstname.lastname@example.org by March 16, 2015. We need approximately 100 judges, so please join us for this exciting event. We also welcome the participation of graduate students, so please pass this along to any graduate students qualified to judge undergraduate posters.
Thank you for your help!
PS: Submissions are being accepted from November 1, 2014 until February 24, 2015, so be sure to encourage students to get those in.
