photoMurfreesboro - For the fourth consecutive year, all 17 of Middle Tennessee's athletic teams earned a multi-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) of over 930 as the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) released its annual report on Tuesday.

The most recent APR scores are based on a multi-year rate that averages scores from the 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11 and 2011-12 academic years.

The Division I Board of Directors set cut scores of 930 and 900 (out of 1,000) as a threshold for teams to meet or face possible immediate and historical sanctions. 12 of the 17 sports at Middle Tennessee reached their highest APR average since the scoring began in 2004-05.

The Blue Raiders were one of 10 Sun Belt Conference schools to have 100 percent of their programs score above the 930 mark. Middle Tennessee's average of 984 tied for first in the league with Denver.

Two teams were recognized by the NCAA last week for earning Public Recognition Awards, based on their most recent multi-year APR. These awards are given each year to teams with APRs in the top 10 percent in each sport. For the third consecutive year men's golf was honored, while men's cross country also picked up an award.
