Student - Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)

MTSU Volleyball The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) serves as the governing body for the MTSU student-athletes. The committee is comprised of at least one representative from each of the 15 varsity sports programs. The role of each SAAC member is to represent his/her team in terms of communicating information to the administrative staff, and coaches as well as assisting with planning of social, educational, and community service events for their teammates.

SAAC members also serves as a liaison between student-athletes and athletic department and academic support staff playing an essential role in creating regulations and serving as the voice of all student-athletes. The SAAC serves as advisors to the CHAMPS / Life Skills Coordinator, Ms. Wynnifred Counts.
