School Visits:

Are you planning a Financial Aid Night or other educational event? Do you wish to have an MTSU representative present information or be available to answer questions? Please read the following information:

The Financial Aid Office can provide a representative for most events in Rutherford County and the surrounding area, including college fairs, financial aid nights, or other events. We can customize the length and focus of the presentation to fit your needs. For example, if you will have representatives from other colleges, you may ask us to speak for 15 minutes about MTSU scholarships then be available to answer questions; if we will be the only presenters, you may ask us to speak only about federal, state, and private aid for an hour, with no MTSU-specific information. Please contact us at bmccarty@mtsu.edu and let us know the following information:

• What is the date (or possible dates) and time of your event?
• Do you need us to give a presentation, or just to answer questions from interested students (college-fair style)?
• What do you want us to focus on? Will we present information about federal, state, and private aid, or about MTSU scholarships?
• How long do you expect the event to last? If a presentation, how long do you want the presentation to be?
• How many students do you expect to be represented at your event, if known?
  

We will respond and let you know whether a financial aid representative is available to attend.

Are you outside of Rutherford County?

• The Admissions Office can provide a representative for many events outside of Rutherford County. Please contact the Admissions Office at 615-898-2111 for more information.
• If you are planning a Financial Aid Night and are unable to arrange for a presenter, we will be happy to send a Powerpoint file for you to share with your students. Email us at bmccarty@mtsu.edu for more information.
