The BIG Event is the largest one-day event, student-run service project in the nation where students of Middle Tennessee State University will come together to say "thank you" to the residents of Murfreesboro.

This will be the fifth year MTSU students will show their appreciation to the surrounding community by completing service projects such as yard work, window washing, and painting for community members. Although The Big Event has become the largest one-day, student-run service project in the nation, our message and our mission will be simply — to say "thank you."

Big Event Job Request

If you have a project for the Big Event team to complete, please fill out the job request form. All Job Request Forms are due by March 4, 2013 by 4:30 p.m. The Big Event can only accept the first 100 jobs. Jobs recieved after the deadline or after we reach 100 will be placed on a waitlist. Please return your completed Job Request Forms to the SGA Office, Student Union Building 306, or mail your form to:
