Often students, especially first time students, go to college dealing and battling with problems such as depression, bipolar disorder, stress, loneliness, and any other difficult situation. It’s a problem because most of them are hidden in the shadow and ignored which can lead them to thoughts of suicide. If I was selected to serve for the SGA, I would speak up for students who can't speak for themselves. I want to spread awareness on campus about depression and other mental illnesses and so that we all can cater towards the hurt and the broken. Also, I want to show them that there's actually people who care about them and want them to succeed.  College should be an enjoyable experience for everyone.

I would be highly honored if elected to serve a term as a SGA Senator. As a current leader and effective communicator on campus, I would like to be the liaison between The College of Basic and Applied Sciences and the SGA. I would improve the quality of student life by ensuring that the voice, concerns, and questions of the Students in the College of Basic and Applied Sciences are well represented. I will be transparent in all endeavors and actions that I engage in to demonstrate that I am the proper candidate for The 79th Congress of the MTSU Student Government Association. ​
