Centennial Snippets - New Student & Family Programs

• This department was previously known as Student Orientation.
• It provides many services to new and current students:
  • Welcome Week - fun, free activities the first week of the fall semester
  • Family Weekend
  • Parent & Family Association
  • Distinguished Lecturer's Fund
  • CUSTOMS
    • This is a new student orientation program that started in 1990
    • Holly Lentz Hays was the director then.
    • CUSTOMS's name was given by alumnus, Noah Maignon, a Student Orientation Advisor at that time.
• The current director is Gina Poff.
