- The first Vice President for Student Affairs at MTSU was Harry Wagner.
- Dr. Robert LaLance, a former VP, was an MTSU alumnus.
- Dr. Robert Glenn, a former VP, left us to become President of Athens State University in Alabama.
- Dr. Debra Sells is our current Vice President. Deb formerly served as Associate Vice President for Student Services. She originally came to MTSU in 1996 as Director of Housing and Residential Life.
- The current departmental secretary, Betty Smithson, has been employed at MTSU since 1965.
