Ms. Sherian Huddleston

Ms. Sherian Huddleston earned the Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University in January 1972 with a major in Business Education. Upon graduation, she began a career as a medical transcriptionist at DeWitt Army Hospital in Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Ms. Huddleston began employment at MTSU in the Financial Aid Office then transferred to the Records Office as Assistant Director of Records. She has since served as the Associate Director of Records and Director of Records and Assistant Vice Provost for Enrollment Management. She currently holds the position of Associate Vice Provost for Enrollment Services.

She also earned the Master of Education degree in 1980 and the Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1989.

Ms. Huddleston is the recipient of the President's Silver Column Award given for extraordinary service to the university. Dr. McPhee, in deciding who should receive this award, looks for employees who go above and beyond the call of duty.  Ms. Huddleston is the fourth recipient of the Silver Column Award.
