Certificate
Upon completion of 11-18 hours of specific courses at the
Associate's Degree Levels, students may earn a technical
certificate from the Community College. The certificate is not a
degree, but recognizes the student's academic work in a
specific field (early childhood education). Students who complete
the certificate program can be recognized at the graduation
ceremony at the college. The TECTA courses are a part of the
certificate program.
Vision
To provide professional development that nurtures the growth of individuals in a community of learners through an articulated statewide higher education system, resulting in the highest quality early childhood experiences for all of Tennessee’s children.
