TECTA is the academic gateway to college course work. Beginning with the orientation class, you may achieve your professional and academic goals by following the TECTA path of your choosing. The following diagram shows the various paths that you may take to achieve your goals. Click on a "goal" shown in the diagram for more information.

Funds are provided on a first come/first served basis to all eligible applicants as funds allow.
Academic coursework in Early Childhood Education satisfies DHS training requirements.
Invitation to apply for funds is mailed in July and November to those who have successfully completed an orientation class.
