Tee received his Bachelor of Arts in Theater from the University of Alabama, where he co-founded Guerilla Theatre for Alpha Psi Omega. After graduation, he served as Technical Director for Theatre Tuscaloosa and Shelton State Community College. He also holds his Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where he trained under Michael Connolly, Cecil O'Neal, Bill Lengfelder, Barbara Somerville, Sara Romersberger, Ben Furey, and Patsy Rodenburg. His onstage credits include performances with the Dallas Theatre Center, Kitchen Dog Theatre, WaterTower Theatre, and the Utah Shakespearean Festival as well as national television commercials and various voice-over spots. Tee is also a certified Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors and an active member of Actor's Equity Association.

He is the webmaster and editor of his own website devoted to theatre, The Mirror Up To Nature, co-host of his podcast, The Inexplicable Dumb Show, and staff writer for the Bloggie Award winning website NeedCoffee.com.
